What to do:
1. See what times training takes place for your child’s age group (see Training).
2. Complete the Online Indemnity Form here.
3. All players are assessed by the BUFC coaches prior to joining. You will be contacted after the try out/assessment by one of our admin team.

How to join BUFC?

FEES:
- Monthly fees are R600. Note that fees are due in the beginning of the month.
- POP of R1200 annual registration fee – due latest 1 March 2026. This is compulsory for all BUFC players, new and current players. This fee covers admin for the year & includes free kit. Kit arrives in April as it gets produced overseas and imported.
- Once all the above has been received we will add you to the age appropriate what’s app group to receive communication.
****Please note:
- We are a non-profit organisation and rely on these fees to pay the school for use of their facilities and to pay our awesome coaches! We kindly ask that fees are paid in the beginning of every month timeously.
- As a member of Ballito United FC, your child is expected to attend training sessions consistently and be available for Sunday morning league match (Home and Away).
Our “Away” league matches are played around Durban including Kloof, Toti, Durban North, Bluff, Westville, etc. Players cannot only be available for Home matches. If transport is an issue for Away matches, transport can be arranged amongst the families of teammates.
Sunday League Matchday team selection is NOT always guaranteed in the older competitive age groups.

What is the GDLFA registration form?
Every player needs to register with SAFA (South African Football Association) if they wish to play matches in the league. BUFC falls under the GDLFA (Greater Durban Local Football Association), which is the region we play in.
When must the completed GDLFA Junior Player Registration form be handed in and to who?
- Latest date end March 2025 and hand to Coach Craig or Coach Shane at training – ONLY HARD COPIES ARE ACCEPTED
What you need to complete the GDLFA Junior Player Registration forms?
- 2 x 2025 GDLFA Junior Registration forms
- 4 x Colour passport sized photos are required
- 2 x Copies of players certified birth certificate
How to complete the GDLFA Junior Player Registration forms:
- Fill in 2 x GDLFA Junior Registration forms (see below GDLFA Age group cut-off dates below)
- Stick the colour passport sized photos in the space provided AND get it stamped by the players school. Stamp to go next to the photos.
- 2 x Copies of players CERTIFIED Birth certificate is required with a colour passport sized photo attached in the top right hand corner of each copy.
